Message from the Founder

With over thirty years of experience in the field of environmental research and development, Dr. Robert L. Carroll founded RLC Technologies, Inc. in 1997. He currently serves as the Company’s President and CEO.

Over a decade ago, Dr. Carroll established a soil remediation company that operated two mobile thermal treatment systems and one stationary plant at a central treatment facility for hydrocarbon contaminated soil remediation. Having had extensive experience in soil remediation contracting business as an owner and operator of thermal treatment plants with over 1,500,000 tons of hydrocarbon contaminated material treated to-date, Dr. Carroll came to realize certain shortcomings in the design of the available thermal treatment equipment for remediation of oily wastes available through the major equipment manufacturers. This led Dr. Carroll to embark on a new path. Nearly a decade later, under his leadership RLC Technologies ATDUs can be located at major multinational oil refinery operations in the North America, the North Sea region in Europe, Middle East, Caribbean and Southeast Asia.

Today RLCT is the premier thermal desorption equipment manufacturer that is 100% focused on this technology and is dedicated to serve the environmental remediation contractors and oil and gas service providers globally.
